Badlands Demos 1988-1991

Badlands Demos 1988-1991
This torrent is a combination of two items: 1) a torrent of demos already listed, but i can't find it 2)

a very good quality cassette with additonal demos from my own collection
To clarify, the songs listed as "flac" are from the original torrent. The songs listed as cassette are from my own collection and have been denoised slightly, and re-eq'ed.
They really do sound awesome. In some cases, the same songs appeared on the torrent and my cassette.
I took the cassette versions as they sounded better.
The real high-lights of this torrent are the two songs from 1991.
If this is any indication of the direction of Badlands if they were still together...makes you want to cry to think what could have been.

devilstomp (flac)
get ready (cassette)
hard driver (flac)
instrumental (flac)
lord knows (cassette mono - well, actually half stereo as the left channel was missing. I pasted the right side onto the left..thus creating this version).
lord knows (cassette)
reckless love (aka dancing on the edge) (cassette)
rumblin train (flac)
seasons (flac)
the last time (cassette)
the rhythm machine (aka shakedown) (cassette)
heaven (cassette)
on my way (cassette)
tribal moon (cassette)
the fire lasts forever (cassette)
want to live with you (cassette)

all are demos, including "want to live with you", this is not the released version from Japan.
Tracks 1 - 12 - 1988
Tracks 13 & 14 - 1990
Tracks 15 & 16 - 1991

I also have the John West demos from 1992. Including songs which ended up on Dusk with Ray singing and some instrumental stuff.

Long live the memory of Ray Gillen.

Thanks for a original uploader .

  2. Hello,

Could you please re-upload these demos? The link no longer works. Could you please also include the demos with John West? I've never heard those! Thank you!
